You are probably geting sick of this

Another fantastic evening, getting out a microsecond earlier seems to alter the colours a fair bit. The top image is standard conditions, bottom is 3x optcal zoom. Click on the images for a larger picture.

Not at all. I think your pictures are great. I like the composition of the top one especially as the evening sky is reflected in the windows. It is a pity that it isn't bigger as it would make a great wallpaper.

They aren't windows, they are a trellis with the sky glowing through the holes. Scale is hard to judge, the trellis is close by, and the trees are really far way. The image has been severely shrunk and reasampled to avoid filling up disk space on the photo server. The colours look a lot better on the un-bloggered image too.

If you want a full scale wallpaper copy, say the word and I will zip and email it to you (its about 1 mb as is)

Great blog! I can indulge my astonomy side without havi to buy by own telescope or camera! Thank you!

Well, I've just posted another image. I'm trying to work out the best way to do a photo essay on thios, aimation? Overlay?

Hopefully the clouds will clear and i can get sone shots of the Jupiter shadow transit.

It is funny that I thought it was a building with windows. I can see a trellis fence now that you've said that is what it is.

A full scale version would be great if it isn't too much trouble for you. You can probably guess my email address (stuart@) as you know my blog URL.

The overlay image (on another post) looks good. The tree branches probably wouldn't have lined up anyway.

It shall be done....tomorrow, now I am going to bed (cloud, grrr)
